Casualty spoilers follow.
Next week on Casualty, Ngozi’s relapse begins to affect her work, while Iain and Teddy’s assessment day takes an unexpected turn and Dylan goes against Flynn’s orders.
Here is our round-up of all the biggest moments coming up next week, in the latest episode of the current boxset, ‘Supply and Demand’:
1. Ngozi has a tough morning
Now back in the depths of alcoholism, Ngozi wakes up hungover in a random house after having a one night stand with a stranger. While walking home, she calls Obi and claims that she had to work an extra shift last night. But her son doesn’t believe her and isn’t happy.
But at that moment, Ngozi is called over by a young dad to help his daughter, who accidentally ingested drugs. Will she be able to help the girl in her fragile state?
2. The ED rises to the challenge
As the overdose cases continue to overwhelm the ED, Flynn sets up a dedicated OD bay to take the pressure off resus. Siobhan works to get nurses from other departments to manage the extra workload, plus she confirms that a new Band 6 nurse has been hired. Will the team be able to cope with this latest challenge?

3. Teddy and Iain are put to the test
Teddy and Iain attend a training day for HART, which they must pass in order to go on secondment with the team. Team leader Tim is sceptical of Teddy, who he isn’t too familiar with, but Iain makes sure to sing his colleague’s praises.
At the team briefing, Tim sets a challenge to the new recruits and says that the most impressive candidate of the day will win a bar of chocolate as a prize. This encourages a fun rivalry between Teddy and Iain, who partner up for some of the tasks but are also competing against each other.
4. Dylan and Flynn clash
During a meeting about the class A drugs on the streets of Holby, Flynn suggests that they should stockpile a medication called naloxone, fearing that there could be another shortage. But Dylan has the idea that they could hand out pre-loaded syringes to prevent drug users from coming into the ED in the first place.
Flynn disagrees but later discovers that Dylan has gone against his orders. During a confrontation, Flynn ends up giving his opinion on addicts – not realising that Dylan is a recovering alcoholic. Has this wrecked their working relationship irreparably?

Iain is stunned and is distracted as the intense day continues. What is the call about, and will this affect his chances with HART?
