Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday’s episode (17 June), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
Hollyoaks has aired a sudden exit for a major character, after the unexpected attack on Grace Black.
This week, Robbie followed Clare’s orders and attempted to kill Grace, showing up at her flat and pointing a gun at her.
When trauma took over for Robbie, Grace turned the gun on him – but at the last moment, Vicky hit her with a wooden object and left her unconscious.
In today’s episode, Vicky feared that she had killed Grace and panicked about going to prison. Robbie calmed her down and suggested they run away together with the money she stole from Banks, leaving the village for good.

Vicky found Mercedes and asked her to get Lexi, so Robbie could say goodbye to his niece before they left for Spain.
As Mercedes reluctantly agreed and wished the pair luck, but Darren also discovered his brother’s plan to run away.
Meanwhile, Clare arrived back at the flat and assumed that Grace was dead. She phoned the emergency services and pretended to be heartbroken when they arrived – but she was shocked when the paramedics declared that Grace was still alive.

Robbie said an emotional goodbye to Lexi and Darren – even suggesting that Lexi goes to live with his mum Sandy in South Africa.
He prepared to bid farewell to Hollyoaks, but Vicky was adamant that she couldn’t leave before saying goodbye to her dad.
Vicky couldn’t find Donny so she set off to leave with Robbie, but over the phone he told her that she couldn’t come with him. Prepared to take the blame for Grace’s attack, Robbie drove off and left Vicky heartbroken.

Elsewhere, Clare arrived at the hospital to see Grace, who seemed to be in a critical condition, and decided to end her sister’s life once and for all.
She unplugged the machines that were keeping her alive, but as Grace flatlined and the doctors rushed in, Donny showed up and caught Clare in the act.
Is this the last we’ve seen of Robbie, and has Clare killed Grace?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
