The award-winning Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is being shown on TV tonight.
The 2017 crime drama, from The Banshees of Inisherin director Martin McDonagh, follows a mother who decides to hire the titular three billboards to raise awareness of her daughter’s murder, and call on the authorities to take action.
Film4 will be screening it at 9pm tonight, and it will be available to stream on the Channel 4 service.
The film boasts a stacked cast that includes The Tragedy of Macbeth‘s Frances McDormand, The Hunger Games‘ Woody Harrelson, The White Lotus‘ Sam Rockwell, Jack Ryan‘s Abbie Cornish, Boy Erased‘s Lucas Hedges, and Game of Thrones‘ Peter Dinklage.
It won five BAFTAs, four Golden Globes, and two Oscars, and was also nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

“In a career full of fascinating performances, this may be McDormand’s most-fascinating yet,” read the Arizona Republic‘s review.
The Guardian said: “It is a film which offers no clear reassurance on tone or narrative direction or who you must laugh with and at. And Frances McDormand holds it all together: a Mother Courage resolved on action and toughly holding on to her sense of order and sense of humour.”
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri will air on Film4 tonight at 9pm, and can be streamed on Channel 4 after. It can also be streamed for Disney+ subscribers.
